These need professional evaluation soon — not weeks from now: lights that dim noticeably when appliances start, or an older panel that has never been assessed. A warm outlet or switch — even one that appears to work normally — can indicate an overload, loose connection, or damaged wiring and should be evaluated by a qualified electrician. If a warm outlet or switch is also discolored, smells like burning, or makes a crackling or buzzing sound, call us now rather than scheduling. Do not continue using an outlet that seems unsafe, and do not attempt to inspect or repair wiring yourself.
